Governance at HSBC Global Asset Management

At HSBC we recognise that environmental, social and corporate governance factors can impact long-term corporate performance and investment returns.

We therefore take an interest in how companies manage these issues, and, on behalf of our clients, encourage them to adopt the highest standards of business conduct.

This encompasses effective corporate governance controls to ensure that boards act both in the best interests of shareholders and also in the sound management of environmental and/or social risks.
