What is HSBC Freedom?

When it comes to your investments, you want the freedom to choose and be in control of your financial future. Freedom Plus is the name of our Nominee Service. This service allows investors to hold sub-funds from several investment fund ranges within one account. Freedom Plus offers you an extensive range of sub-funds ('funds') to choose from, so you can create your own portfolio. You can pick specific funds to complement your existing investments, access markets you may not have considered before, or manage the balance of your portfolio by investing in assets with varying levels of risks.

• Currency - sterling, US dollars and euro
• Growth potential or income - depending on the sub-fund that you choose
• Fund ranges - You can invest in our International Fund ranges, the HSBC Global Investment funds, the HSBC International Select funds and from June 2008 you can also invest in Shariah-compliant funds from HSBC Amanah, our global Islamic financial services division.
• Control and choice - easy access to over 40 sub-funds from around the globe so you can build your own portfolio
• Flexibility - switch between sub-funds for free up to six times a year (with the exception of the US Index fund)
• Expertise - specialist investment teams around the world combine their local knowledge and expertise with global resources to make investment decisions for each sub fund
