The HSBC Global Investment Funds (GIF) range has been built around the specific markets and asset classes where we believe HSBC Global Asset Management has the resources and expertise that can make us best in class.
There are over 50 funds in the HSBC GIF range which is distributed in over 30 countries. The funds cover a range of asset classes and investment styles as well as geographical regions.
From our award-winning regional emerging market equity and fixed income strategies to our long-established, single-country equity strategies, we have funds that cover almost every part of the emerging markets universe.
We have over 180 dedicated emerging markets investment professionals across 16 offices (as at March 2009). Our expert teams are focused on achieving the best possible results in their disciplines. Our fund range is diverse and specialised, supported by a world-leading, local sales network.
HSBC GIF is structured as a SICAV (Société d’Investissement à Capital Variable) and is domiciled in Luxembourg. The range qualifies under the European UCITS III (Undertakings for Collective Investments in Transferable Securities) Directive.
The HSBC GIF range of funds consists of the following categories: international equity funds, regional equity funds, single-country equity funds, international bond funds, regional bond funds, single-country bond funds, money market funds and specialist funds.
