HSBC GIF Climate Change Fund

The launch of the Fund is a consequence of our conviction that climate change is one of the biggest investment themes for the foreseeable future.

The Fund invests in companies that are considered best placed to benefit from developing solutions to the challenges presented by climate change. It is managed by Sinopia, the specialist 'active quantitative' asset manager of the HSBC Group. The Fund aims for long-term capital growth, primarily through active stock selection from the HSBC Global Climate Change Benchmark Index while carefully managing risks.

The fund is a sub-fund of the HSBC Global Investment Funds (GIF), which is a Luxembourg domiciled SICAV and is denominated in US dollars.
