Investment Funds Plan and ISA
Please note that from the 1st January 2014, we will no longer be accepting any applications for this product from new customers. Applications signed prior to this date and received before the 13th January 2014 will be honoured. Unfortunately, applications received after this date will be rejected.
If you have an existing Investment Funds Plan or ISA product and you wish to top up your investment, switch/convert your funds, or transfer in an investment from elsewhere, we will continue to accept these applications in line with our existing Terms and Conditions. The decision to close this product applies to new customers only. These changes are not expected to affect existing investors.
We will continue to ensure our Funds are available via the majority of third party platforms. The majority of these platforms will offer our clean fee share classes. Our clean fee share classes have a reduced annual management charge which strips out the element of adviser commission our legacy classes contain. The links below contain useful information regarding fund platforms and how they operate and may assist you in selecting the company most suitable for your needs.
Additionally, investors may access our clean fee share classes directly with HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Limited subject to a minimum investment of £1,000,000. Our legacy share classes may also be available directly with us upon request, however please note that the annual management charges for these share classes are more expensive than our clean fee share classes. We recommend that you consider the cost implications thoroughly, especially when choosing to invest in our legacy share classes.
There are risks with investing and the value of any investments and income from them can go down as well as up. You should be aware that you may not receive back the amount originally invested. You should view investments as medium to long term, and should plan to keep it for at least five years.
